Major: Biomedical Engineering

Why did you choose this area of study?

I want to help expand the capability of drug delivery and medical devices.

What are your plans after graduation?

Continuing polymer research at CWRU while exploring different job paths.

Why did you choose CWRU?

The people and community are extremely welcoming and supportive.

What was your favorite class? And why?

On the Road in America, the class helped foster a love for the outdoors and led me to take risk and fully embrace backpacking through Colorado during the summer after the class.

What's your favorite thing about CWRU or your favorite memory?

My favorite memory of CWRU is having picnics in the green spaces during the summer.

What's a piece of advice/encouragement you'd like to share with CSE students?

As soon as you stop taking yourself seriously you’ll be so much happier.

What activities were you involved in outside of class? Why did you get involved? What was your favorite part?

Theta Pi Sigma president, I got involved through the CWRU LGBT center and I deeply appreciated meeting diverse people and coming together to create a supportive and welcoming community. I also work in the Co-op office and love the women I work with.
