• Explain the details of your internship. 

I am working in a mechanical laboratory where we apply destructive testing to materials and gather mechanical results. I am also working on a project to model/build a polishing system.

• How did you find this opportunity? 

I found this opportunity through my roommate at CWRU!

• What has your experience been so far?

I have learned how to use the machinery and the application of data from testing. I also have learned a new modeling software and finished multiple parts of the project I was given.

• What are you most looking forward to?

I am looking forward to learning more about the tests we perform and finishing the project I’ve been given.

• What's your best advice for students who might be looking for a similar opportunity?

I would say to always believe in yourself and pursue every opportunity you are given!
